The first national online quality management system (eQMS) is coming to forensic science in policing in England and Wales. Find out about the system and ask your questions to FCN Quality Director, Deborah Pendry, and her team.

This event is open to anyone working in forensic science and policing. If you're not sure if you're eligible to attend, just contact us.

A national approach to quality management means everyone in the FCN community can access and share accurate and up-to-date information. It'll also result in less doubling-up of effort and reduce the administrative burden for members of running systems compliant with ISO/IEC 17020 and 17025.

Functionally, the eQMS is completely browser-based, deployable in the cloud, accessible at point-of-use and adheres to the security requirements needed in a national system.

Technically, it is highly configurable and can be customised and extended, so will grow with the needs of FCN members. It also allows access to information based on permissions by force, location and role, which is vital for our national approach.

This is a joint event held by the Forensic Capability Network (FCN) and Transforming Forensics programme.

Book your place via Eventbrite here.

If you have any problems registering for the event on Eventbrite, please contact us through the website form using the subject 'R&D bitesize'. You can submit questions in advance through the same form.
