I have worked in commercial and procurement roles for over 25 years, both as a practitioner and in policy roles. My experience is predominantly in policing however I began in the NHS and have also worked in Welsh Government. I am a member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply and have a MSc.

What was your first job in policing or forensics?
I worked in Avon and Somerset Constabulary for over 10 years which led to me working in the National Policing Improvement Agency and subsequently the Home Office.
What is your favourite part of your role?
Working collaboratively with people to deliver what is needed.
What work in your career have you most enjoyed?
Working collaboratively with forces to tender for forensic services. Whilst a challenge, my forensic science colleagues were the best customers I have ever worked with.
